What is SYNERGY?
SYNERGY is an EXOSTRUCTURE NETWORK TOPOLOGY that your current network structure can be transplanted into. An EXOSTRUCTURE NETWORK TOPOLOGY is an intranet network that “surrounds” your current network. It is comprised of client (ANNEX computers) – server (Encrypted Array Storage or EAS) connections. ANNEX and EAS computers, known as UNIFIED EMBEDDED COMPUTERs (UEC), are computers or server systems designed specifically for recovery and protection.
A SYNERGY EXOSTRUCTURE NETWORK TOPOLOGY is modular and can fit any size network, no matter how small or large, simple or complex, and can be enlarged or reduced as your needs change. There can be an unlimited number of ANNEX systems in a SYNERGY EXOSTRUCTURE NETWORK TOPOLOGY and can be mixed between laptops and towers. SYNERGY networks are compatible with all versions of Windows (from Windows XP and up) and all Debian-based Linux systems.
Any workstation or server in your current network can be transplanted into an ANNEX UEC with no loss of performance. EAS UECs store the primary (daily) recovery process of the ANNEX UECs, but this is not the only recovery process. Each ANNEX UEC also has a redundant (hourly) recovery process. This allows each ANNEX system to completely recover independently of the connected EAS in an emergency.

ANNEX UECs are available in both laptop and tower form factors. Due to the complex nature of the system, All-In-Ones (AIOs) are not available. Laptops come in two basic configurations while towers come in three basic configurations.

SYNERGY EAS (Encrypted Array Storage) are available in two form factors: Tower or 4U Rackmount Server. The type of SYNERGY EAS UEC required is dependent on the number of ANNEX UECs in the SYNERGY EXOSTRUCTURE NETWORK TOPOLOGY. There can be an unlimited number of SYNERGY EAS UECs in a SYNERGY EXOSTRUCTURE NETWORK TOPOLOGY and can contain a mix of different types of SYNERGY EAS UECs to fit your needs.
